Well, in Vietnam, there are numerous traditional celebrations that are deeply rooted in our culture. One particular celebration that I truly enjoy is the Tet holiday, also known as Lunar New Year. It is the most important and widely celebrated festival in Vietnam.

Tet usually falls in late January or early February, depending on the lunar calendar. The preparations for Tet begin weeks in advance, with families cleaning their homes, decorating with vibrant flowers, and buying new clothes. The atmosphere leading up to Tet is incredibly lively and joyous.

During Tet, families come together to pay respects to their ancestors and offer prayers for good fortune in the upcoming year. We visit the graves of our ancestors and tidy them up, and then we gather around an ancestral altar at home to offer incense and food. This is a significant part of the celebration as it reflects our deep respect for our ancestors and the values they instilled in us.

One of the highlights of Tet is the traditional food we prepare and enjoy. Vâng, ở Việt Nam, có rất nhiều lễ kỷ niệm truyền thống đã ăn sâu vào văn hóa của chúng ta. Một lễ kỷ niệm đặc biệt mà tôi thực sự thích là kỳ nghỉ Tết, còn được gọi là Tết Nguyên đán. Đây là lễ hội quan trọng và được tổ chức rộng rãi nhất ở Việt Nam.

Tết thường rơi vào cuối tháng Giêng hoặc đầu tháng Hai, tùy theo âm lịch. Việc chuẩn bị cho Tết bắt đầu từ nhiều tuần trước, các gia đình dọn dẹp nhà cửa, trang trí bằng những bông hoa rực rỡ và mua sắm quần áo mới. Không khí chuẩn bị đón Tết vô cùng náo nhiệt và vui tươi.
