1. Tóm tắt lý thuyết thì Hiện tại đơn

Trước khi giải các bài tập về thì hiện tại đơn, chúng ta hãy cùng ôn lại lý thuyết về thì HTĐ:

Công thức:

	Động từ To be	Động từ thường
Khẳng định	S + is/ am/ are + O	S + V (s/ es) + O

Khi nào dùng hiện tại đơn:

• Diễn tả một chân lý hay một sự thật hiển nhiên

• Diễn đạt một thói quen lâu dài, một hành động lặp lại

• Diễn tả một sự thật, tình trạng, tích cách, cảm xúc, nguyện vọng.

• Diễn đạt một sự sắp xếp cố định, khó có thay đổi về thời gian

• Dùng khi chỉ đường hay đưa ra các hướng dẫn

• Thay thế cho thì tương lai đơn trong mệnh đề If loại 1
